Four-hour MI intensive
4 hours · half-day block
Spirit, core skills, and next-day practice—strong for frontline teams, all-staff days, and regional huddles.
Teams · clients · culture
Where conversation matters
MotLearn helps organizations where conversations carry risk and reward: staff who work with clients and customers, teams who depend on each other under pressure, and leaders who want reporting lines to feel supportive—not performative.
How we design it
We pair evidence-based MI and related approaches with adult-learning design, optional simulation, and formats that fit how your people actually work.
Facilitation standards
Led by members of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT). Where relevant, facilitators also hold Invitation to Change Level 1 training, so your teams get the same craft we describe for individuals, scaled to policy, pace, and accountability structures.
Shapes & pacing
Choose a proven shape or ask for something bespoke: four-hour intensives, one- and two-day builds, multi-day institutes, lunch-and-learn series, or a blended arc that stretches over quarters with coaching touchpoints.
Workshops and pathways for frontline and professional staff who need clearer listening, better alignment with autonomy, and fewer escalations—with language tuned to your sector and your service model.
Cohort experiences plus optional AI-driven rehearsal (for example MotLab) so people practice tone, pacing, and responses before they meet real clients—or each other in difficult moments.
When your job is less “chair” and more “culture,” we design leadership-facing sessions: supporting reports, modeling curiosity, and embedding MI spirit in how goals, feedback, and change are discussed.
Where it helps, we integrate with secure training platforms, LMS patterns, and light analytics so skill growth stays visible after the workshop—and funders and executives can see progress without drowning the front line in paperwork.
4 hours · half-day block
Spirit, core skills, and next-day practice—strong for frontline teams, all-staff days, and regional huddles.
1–2 days · depth & repetition
Deeper practice, supervision-friendly pacing, and your scenarios—for teams with clients, customers, or stakeholders when skills need to stick.
Cohort · multi-session (scoped with you)
MI spirit in 1:1s and team meetings (not just “chair skills”)—for managers and directors shaping culture through conversation.
Modular · often 1–2 days or a short series
Shared language for ambivalence and change across nursing, housing, intake, and partners—not turf wars dressed as “alignment” workshops.
Custom length · intensive to multi-quarter arcs
Agendas, pre-work, and follow-through mapped to union rules, charting, languages, and risk—when the arc must match how you work, not a generic off-the-shelf day.
Tell us a little about your team. A real person replies within 2 business days — usually with two or three concrete options.
